We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our team. As a senior process engineer, you will be responsible for applying advanced engineering techniques and analyses to solve complex problems.
Your role will involve expanding your knowledge and skill set in the area of discipline, as well as starting to expand your knowledge in other disciplines and functional areas. You will also be responsible for continuing to learn and remain current on departmental design guides, standards, systems, applicable engineering codes, and policies relative to assigned tasks.
This includes consistently and independently applying knowledge and complying with quality program relative to assigned tasks. Your key responsibilities will include preparing complex engineering deliverables, performing complex research, and developing recommendations for equipment and material selection.
You will also be responsible for managing schedules and quality requirements, as well as planning and conducting independent evaluations, selections, and adaptations of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
In addition, you will actively coordinate with all other internal and external team members on moderately complex projects, and assist with identification of client interests and drivers on less complex projects. You will also communicate client interests and drivers to project team members and develop approaches to accommodate these concerns in the performance of the work.
To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program and a minimum of 5 years related work experience. They will also have intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to the assigned engineering discipline.
