Senior Manufacturing Engineer for Global Standardization and Compliance

CHEP, a global leader in supply chain solutions, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and implementation of manufacturing standards, validation processes, and documentation practices across our global engineering and future automation teams. As a key member of our international organization, you will be empowered to drive change and contribute to our mission of making goods movement more efficient, safe, and sustainable.
Job OverviewWe estimate the salary for this role to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This figure includes base salary, bonus, and other benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to establish and maintain manufacturing standards, validation processes, and documentation practices across global engineering and future automation teams.
- Leverage expertise in engineering standards, validation methodologies, and documentation management to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal change control management systems.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop project requirements, milestones, and acceptance criteria, facilitating effective project planning and execution.
- Evaluate and implement Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies for manufacturing process optimization.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, validation, or documentation management roles in a global manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of engineering standards, validation methodologies, and documentation management practices, with a focus on manufacturing processes and systems.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience in creating and managing a robust change control process.
Prior experience with auditing manufacturing processes and documentation systems for compliance and quality assurance purposes would be beneficial, as would certification in quality engineering, validation, or documentation management from recognized industry organizations.
