About the Role

BaptistCare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team in the Southern Highland and surrounding areas.

As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our clients to live their best possible life, supporting them to live independently at home and doing the things they love.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including showering, dressing, and assistance with daily living activities
  • Assist with household cleaning and laundry, meal preparation, and providing respite for carers
  • Transport clients to and from appointments and shops, and provide social support
  • Assist with complex care needs and provide emotional support to clients and their families
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable motor vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Damage car insurance
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and empathetic, patient, and caring nature
  • Ability to work independently in the community and as part of a team
