We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our team at Alma Nove, a fine dining restaurant located in Manly, NSW. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the growth and success of our business.

About the Role
  • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase sales, and enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food presentation.
  • Manage staff schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and provide coaching and training to ensure staff are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor, inventory, and supplies, to ensure profitability and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant or similar environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Proficient in POS systems, including Lightspeed and OpenTable.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
