Job Overview
We are seeking a Cultural Heritage Project Manager to support our works programs, providing guidance on environmental management expertise to meet departmental and stakeholder expectations. The ideal candidate will have at least five years' experience on green or brownfield infrastructure construction projects utilising Cultural Heritage management processes, standards, and responsibilities.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Cultural Heritage Project Manager. You will be responsible for:
- Liaising, consulting, and building effective relationships with diverse stakeholders including regions, state-wide groups, and other government agencies.
- Delivering guidance on Cultural Heritage issues to meet departmental and stakeholder expectations and objectives.
- Providing planning, design, and construction advice and services with Cultural Heritage considerations in mind.
- Desktop and field data collection, collation, and analysis.
- Preparing environmental reports.
- Project managing the acquisition of relevant permits.
- Managing the engagement of third-party Cultural Heritage services.
- Planning, conducting, and closing out field audits as per relevant plans, standards, and statutory obligations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum Cert 4 in Culture & Heritage Management.
- A current car driver's licence.
- At least five years' experience on green or brownfield infrastructure construction projects utilising Cultural Heritage management processes, standards, and responsibilities.
- Preference will be given to someone with Road and transport infrastructure construction project experience.
You may also hold desirable qualifications such as a Bachelor of Arts in Culture & Heritage or membership of a related professional body.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and a variety of benefits, including:
- A nominal 40-hour workweek (5-day week, approximately 8 hours per day).
- The possibility of part-time hours per week.
- The opportunity to work from one or more Project Offices and attend multiple sites throughout the relevant region.
- Relocation support to candidates currently residing in Australia with Australian Road Infrastructure standards experience.
