The HR Room is seeking a highly experienced Asbestos Supervisor to join our client's team in Adelaide. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing asbestos removal operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Organize and lead asbestos removal teams to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Develop and implement asbestos removal control plans and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with WorkSafe and other authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Train and supervise asbestos workers to ensure they meet company standards.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and documents for auditing purposes.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in asbestos removal.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective asbestos removal control plans and risk assessments.
- Experience with policies and procedures, including SWMS and site paperwork.
- Current driver's license (MR license an advantage).
- Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software.
- Cert IV in OHS or Training and Assessment is desirable.
- VET course qualifications highly favorable.
