We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Hydrogeologist to join our team at Greencap. As a key member of our national Mine Water team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team's hydrogeological assessments and project management.
Our team helps clients optimize their performance, boost profitability, and operate responsibly. We have a comprehensive understanding of the mining industry and current issues, including decarbonization, and we are committed to developing future-ready strategies to address these challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate design and documentation with other engineering services and team members.
- Carry out assigned project and design work in support of technical and commercial standards.
- Prepare reports for clients on matters relating to hydrogeology.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake hydrogeological assessments, including data interpretation, site investigation planning, and conceptualization.
- Potential to undertake field work.
- Provide technical input into groundwater investigations, management, and impact assessments.
- Develop groundwater models.
- Draft technical reports.
- Drive innovation in our practice with new techniques, workflows, and ideas.
- Bachelor's degree in Geology or Geosciences.
- Excellent technical report writing and data interpretation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience delivering hydrogeological investigations is preferred.
- Exposure to a diverse range of groundwater modeling software and calibration utilities is preferred.
- Experience using GIS and other software to visualize data and model outputs.
