Cloud Platform Manager Role Overview

This role seeks an experienced leader to oversee the migration of business applications to cloud platforms and modernize existing infrastructure. The successful candidate will set the strategic direction for our cloud environment, lead a small team of engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and execute cloud infrastructure strategy aligned to enterprise goals and compliance frameworks.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cloud engineers in a delivery-focused culture.
  • Develop and implement platform roadmaps using modern DevSecOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Maintain and optimize cloud services across secure environments.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, architecture, and infrastructure teams to ensure effective solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience leading cloud infrastructure or platform teams within regulated environments.
  • Strong technical background in at least one major cloud platform.
  • Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD toolsets.
  • Working knowledge of secure infrastructure delivery aligned to industry frameworks.
  • Background in balancing infrastructure delivery with strategic platform uplift and governance.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills.
