Seeking an ambitious Apprentice Butcher to join our retail team in Devonport. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual to learn the skills of the trade and begin their career in butchery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meat products for sale and serve customers as part of a team of butchers and other team members

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and good communication skills
  • Dedication and willingness to learn, with a love of working with food and people
  • Physical fitness for lifting and standing
  • Ongoing daytime availability on at least 3-4 days per week and every second weekend
  • Eligibility to undertake the Retail Butcher qualification through TasTafe

Pay:
