Senior Aged Care Nurse

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in providing high-quality care to elderly residents.
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, administering medications and treatments, conducting regular health assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Deliver compassionate nursing care to elderly residents in accordance with their individual care plans, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring accuracy and adherence to protocols.
- Conduct regular health assessments, monitoring residents' conditions and making informed decisions about their care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery, fostering open communication and coordination.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- At least 6 months of previous experience in aged care or similar settings, demonstrating expertise and proficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities, enabling sound decision-making and problem-solving.
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to delivering high-quality care, with a focus on resident-centered practice.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the residents and the organization.
