City Parking Assistants

A dynamic and customer-focused environment is seeking team players to help keep the city moving. Whether directing cars or working behind the scenes, both roles are crucial in ensuring a smooth experience for visitors.

We have multiple casual positions available across two teams: Park Lands City Assistants and UPark Support Operators. If you have a passion for service and can think on your feet, we want to hear from you.

The role involves:

  • Assisting with parking during events on the Park Lands
  • Providing great customer service to eventgoers
  • Managing small cash transactions and ensuring accurate records
  • Helping maintain clean, safe parking areas
  • Working closely with security and operations teams

Park Lands City Assistant

Keep Adelaide's iconic Park Lands welcoming and well-managed during busy event seasons. You'll be out and about, guiding drivers, supporting event setups, and helping people find their way.

UPark Car Park Support & Central Control Room Operator

This role supports Adelaide's UPark car parks and Central Bus Station through a mix of on-site and remote operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring car park and bus station operations via CCTV
  • Assisting customers remotely through the UPark system
  • Performing inspections and reporting maintenance issues
  • Handling machine troubleshooting and basic cash handling duties
  • Supporting evacuations and safety protocols in emergencies

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An unencumbered driver's license (for the Car Park Support & Central Control Room Operator position)
  • Previous experience in a cashiering or customer service environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A sound understanding of computerised cashiering equipment
