Visual Effects Project Manager

The Visual Effects Editor is a critical position in the visual effects pipeline, collaborating closely with the Director of VFX Editorial to ensure seamless project delivery.
Responsibilities:- Manage plate pulls and organize project elements per show/project specifications.
- Establish, maintain, and troubleshoot the VFX color pipeline on a show-by-show basis.
- Create show-specific deliverable templates based on client specifications.
- Cutting and updating sequences, rendering deliverables, and managing count sheets.
- Ensure correct editorial information is passed onto the production team.
- Quality control VFX versions before submitting for editorial review.
- Troubleshoot any disparities while working independently.
- Cutting reels as needed.
- Proven experience as a VFX Editor in episodic and feature pipelines.
- Working knowledge of Nuke Studio and/or Hiero, Adobe Premiere, Resolve.
- Familiarity with shot tracking systems, Excel, and other productivity tools.
- Shotgrid proficiency a plus.
- Comfortable with Windows and computers in general.
- General technical savviness required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work under high pressure with short deadlines.
