Job Title: HSC Biology Teacher

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic team as a qualified Science teacher with the capability to teach Biology at HSC level. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing engaging Science/Biology curriculum for Stage 4-6 students, focusing on HSC success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development: Develop and implement innovative Science/Biology curriculum that caters to the diverse needs of Stage 4-6 students.
  • Student Engagement: Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and promotes academic excellence.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to create a cohesive learning community that supports student success.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on the latest pedagogical practices.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Education with specialisation in Biology.
  • Experience in teaching Stage 6 Biology with strong understanding of HSC curriculum.
  • Strong passion for teaching and commitment to student success.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs.
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning experience.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with NSW Curriculum and Assessment framework.
  • Valid Working with Children Check clearance.
