We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Accountant to join our team at Link Group. As a key member of our Financial Services division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our tax services.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax returns and other financial documents.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and implement new procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with the Tax Manager to identify and implement process improvements.
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues and clients on tax-related matters.
- Conduct research and analysis to resolve complex tax issues.
- Develop and maintain tax models and other financial tools to support business operations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of tax policies and procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to improve business operations.
- 2-3 years of experience in tax accounting or a related field.
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, including superannuation legislation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
- CA/CPA qualification or close to completion, and registered tax agent desirable.
