Job Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Professional to join our team as an Employment Rehabilitation Consultant.

About the Role

As an Employment Rehabilitation Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of candidates with a range of disability and barriers to employment.

You will offer counselling intervention as needed, utilising various psychological methodologies.

Referring candidates to additional external support services to help address barriers.

Providing evaluations on assessments and monitoring the progression of cases.

Liaising with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of candidates.

Providing training and guidance to atWork staff on psychological services and procedures.

Requirements

  • Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Psychology with eligibility for registration with APHRA;
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Counselling, or eligibility to gain, membership with ACA / PACFA;
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, or eligibility to gain, membership with ASORC/ ACA;
  • Relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Social Work or eligibility to gain, membership with AASW;
