About the Role:
UGL Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor to join our New Energy team in Geelong, VIC. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will provide critical support and guidance on health, safety, and environmental matters.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and responsible health, safety, and environmental services to project delivery teams.
- Develop and implement work packs, including methodology and risk assessments, to ensure compliance with organizational policies and legislative requirements.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management or equivalent.
- Strong experience in a similar site-based role in the construction industry.
- Robust understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
- Experience in implementing Safety Management Systems.
