As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in driving change and shaping the future of our industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate plant and equipment within the Recycling Facility to achieve operational outcomes
  • Operate front-end loaders and excavators
  • Provide support services to assist in the operation of the business unit
  • Promote and apply personal safety, environmental, and quality awareness in the workplace
  • Check daily instructions and prioritize tasks accordingly
  • Ensure machinery is maintained, fueled, parked, and inspected at the end of each shift

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years' experience operating an excavator and/or front-end loader
  • Ability to work a day shift with varied shifts on occasion
  • Relevant licenses and tickets, VOC training is acceptable
  • Waste industry, civil, construction, mining, or quarry experience is desirable
  • Ability to read and understand safety signs and communicate clearly via a 2-way radio
