About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Science educator to join our team as a Leader of Learning: Science. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students and contributing to the development of our Science curriculum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging, rigorous, and student-centered learning experiences that cater to diverse needs and abilities.
  • Lead and collaborate with colleagues to promote student learning and achievement in Science, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Develop and implement quality programming, pedagogy, and assessments to drive student progress and achievement.
  • Employ data-informed approaches to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback that supports student growth.
  • Support a Christ-centered education and inclusive cultural environment that values diversity and promotes social responsibility.
  • Demonstrate exceptional classroom management skills that prioritize student well-being and safety.
  • Integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences and promote student engagement.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Education, with a focus on Science education.
  • Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
