Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Youth Support Coordinator to lead and manage the implementation of the Youth Support Coordinator Initiative across the South East Region. The successful candidate will have strong relational skills, build strong partnerships across internal and external stakeholders and support the development of the youth support coordinators.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional who is passionate about working with students and their families to make a positive impact in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement a system of professional supervision in collaboration with principals to ensure the youth support services within the schools are high quality.
  • Lead and manage the implementation of the Youth Support Coordinator Initiative across the region.
  • Build strong partnerships across internal and external stakeholders to support the development of the youth support coordinators.
Requirements
  • Experience working with at-risk or disengaged students and families.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with families, schools, and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated cultural competency, especially working with First Nations students and diverse backgrounds.
  • High standards of confidentiality, conduct, and information privacy.
  • Familiarity with the education department and systems.
