As our AI Governance Lead, you will play a critical role in implementing and operationalising our Group AI Assurance Framework across the business. This includes identifying, selecting, and implementing tools to streamline and automate AI Governance activities, where possible.

You will own the end-to-end AI governance assessments, provide advice and guidance throughout the AI solution lifecycle, and ensure AI solutions comply with applicable legal requirements and regulation. You will co-create and complete the training and communication plan of responsible AI, and be the primary point of contact and advocate for the AI Platform Team's AI Solutions within the organisation.

Key to your success

  • Extensive experience in a governance role, working with Data or Automation Solutions within cloud and non-cloud environments.
  • Confident working with AI technologies, with experience in Large Language Models and Machine Learning.
  • A good understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to AI governance, with experience ensuring compliance with evolving Data Privacy regulations, including APP and Privacy Act.
  • Degree qualified in computer science, data science, or related IT discipline.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong relationship building and presentation skills.
