About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team based on the Gold Coast. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with travel to sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and advice to operations teams to improve work processes and service delivery.
  • Develop project documentation including technical reports, scope of works, construction methodologies, and project performance/progress.
  • Review project documents for compliance with relevant standards and specifications.
  • Implement quality assurance into project delivery.
  • Assist with tender documentation, process, and procurement activities.
  • Ensure design is completed within expected timeframes and documented accordingly.
  • Contribute to the development of a project budget and ensure financial targets are met without compromise to business environment, community, and client satisfaction KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline (recognised by Engineers Australia).
  • Knowledge of Australian electrical Standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prior experience as a Project Engineer preferably within the water and/or wastewater industry. Wider Utilities or oil and gas experience is also desirable.
  • Strong communication and sub-contractor management skills.
  • Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent trade-based certification.
  • Demonstrated ability in financial management and reporting including budgeting.
  • Time management, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with relevant industry standards and specifications.
  • Ability to drive quality outcomes in project delivery.
