Bus Transportation Operator

We're seeking a skilled Bus Transportation Operator to join our team. As a key member of our transportation services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bus fleet.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Folding and unfolding mobility aids with precision and care.
  • Ensuring equipment and resident shopping are safely loaded onto the bus.
  • Providing exceptional support to residents during outings, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Aiding residents with simple mobilization, including pushing those in wheelchairs when trained to do so.

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A valid LR class licence for driving buses with a 22-passenger capacity or less.
  • Previous experience using lifting equipment and assistive devices is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Word and Excel.
  • A First Aid & CPR Certificate is highly desirable.
  • Covid vaccination evidence is mandatory.
  • A successful police check is required.
