Business Support Officer Job Description

Chandler Macleod is a leading recruitment company seeking a skilled Business Support Officer to join our client in Ballarat. This full-time temporary position will last until the end of January.

This role involves providing high-quality administrative and business support to operational teams and depots, reporting directly to the Team Leader, Business Support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Tasks: Process timesheets, overtime, TIL, and allowances; labour costing, invoicing, and accounts payable administration.
  • Sourcing and Procurement: Order materials, including uniforms and general office supplies.
  • Facilities and Fleet Management: Raise purchase orders; administer local facilities and fleet operations.
  • Office Support: Manage office stationery and provide general administrative assistance.
  • Travel and Accommodation: Arrange travel and accommodation as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: At least 1 year of experience in administration or business support.
  • Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Thrive in a team environment and possess strong communication skills.
  • Dedication to Quality: Dedicated to delivering best practice support and ensuring seamless operations.
