Job Title

The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) project is a significant infrastructure development in South Australia, involving the construction of two separate tunnels and an open motorway.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, mobilize, and coordinate heavy plant and equipment for piling, foundations, and bridge construction.
  • Monitor utilisation, performance, and implement preventative maintenance programs.
  • Provide technical advice on plant selection, capabilities, and safe operating procedures.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and logistics teams to manage plant operations.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong understanding of heavy plant and equipment used in foundations and bridge construction.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, plant specifications, and maintenance schedules.
  • Practical problem-solver with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
