Saint Ignatius College fosters a vibrant educational community where students develop their talents to make a positive impact.

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Strength and Conditioning Coaches who can design age-appropriate programs for students in years 9-12 across various sports.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of resistance training, mobility, plyometrics, speed, agility, and conditioning methods. They will be able to instruct and communicate effectively with students, cueing exercises according to their experience levels.

Required qualifications include a Degree in Exercise Science or an equivalent field. Level 2 ASCA accreditation is desirable, and a NSW Working with Children Check (Employment Status) is essential. A current First Aid/CPR certification is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design strength and conditioning programs for students in years 9-12
  • Modify programs based on injuries, athlete needs, or team requirements
  • Ensure safe and appropriate training loads and progressions
  • Provide technical coaching and teaching technique to maximise performance
  • Identify and correct inefficiencies or dysfunctions in fundamental movement patterns
