Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager to oversee all non-credit financial risks arising from our Treasury operations. This is a high impact role that ensures the active management of liquidity, interest rate, and balance sheet risks in alignment with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Provide oversight of liquidity and funding processes, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity risk management, and key metrics such as cumulative gap, ITOC, Ea R, Va R, and RWA.">
  • Oversee treasury risk related to interest rate changes, market fluctuations, and hedging strategies.">
  • Monitor and review Treasury-related Risk Appetite Statement (RAS) metrics and ensure exposures stay within approved parameters.">
  • Lead and enhance the ICAAP liquidity and funding stress testing process to meet evolving regulatory expectations.">
  • Conduct deep dives into treasury processes to ensure compliance with APRA reporting standards.">
  • Undertake control testing aligned with internal procedures.">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will need:

">

• Strong knowledge of regulatory obligations within retail banking, particularly APRA standards for liquidity and interest rate risk.

">

• Experience with ICAAP, interest rate risk in the banking book (IRRBB), and capital adequacy frameworks.

">

• A track record of uplifting risk frameworks, policies, and processes, and embedding them into daily operations.

• Well-developed skills in control testing and stakeholder engagement.
