Adbri is a leading supplier of premixed concrete, aggregates, and sands to the commercial, industrial, civil and residential construction sectors in Australia.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to optimise opportunities in the QLD market.

As a key member of our sales team, you will lead engagement for major projects with Tier 1 customers, develop sales targets and prepare sales and operational budgets, analyse sales and profitability within new and existing markets and market segments, and provide relevant targets for all sales staff and regularly evaluate performance.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in a sales management role, ideally within the building industry, and possess strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to work independently within an established business framework.

You will also have the ability to lead, mentor and upskill a team of direct reports, develop and implement strategic business plans, and prepare and present clear and concise reports.

  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners and suppliers
  • Develop and execute business development plans to drive revenue growth and increase market share
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Analyse sales data and identify trends and opportunities to inform business decisions
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts and budgetary controls
