We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver with MR, HR or HC Licence to contribute to our vision of fast, flexible and frequent delivery. This full-time role is based out of Darra, QLD.

Job Responsibilities
  • Transport finished goods: via road, to and from the warehouse to retail outlets and distribution centres.
  • Plan efficient routes: to meet delivery schedules in the most effective way.
  • Maintain vehicle safety: proactively inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues.
  • Ensure compliance: with work health and safety laws, regulations and codes of conduct.
  • Promote a positive image: present yourself in a professional manner, provide efficient, on-time delivery with exceptional customer service.
  • Follow driving rules: comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Understand responsibility: possess a full understanding and support chain of Responsibility and custody processes.
  • Collect and verify instructions: collect and verify delivery instructions.
  • Maneuver trucks: maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.
  • Report incidents: report defects, accidents or violations.
  • Maintain licensure: keep commercial driver's license up to date.
Requirements
  • Licence requirements: hold a valid Medium Rigid (MR), Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) Licence.
  • Driving experience: be enthusiastic about driving and have a good and safe driving record with a minimum of 2 years experience driving a heavy vehicle.
  • Knowledge of Brisbane area: knowledge of the Brisbane area.
  • Adaptability: ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.
  • Truck driving expertise: extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving and road rules and regulations.
  • Critical thinking: adaptability and foresight to manage unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) to meet delivery deadlines.
