Maintenance Fitter Role

  1. We are seeking a skilled fitter to maximise efficiencies in a fast-paced environment with the ability to lead proactive preventive maintenance activities, manage breakdowns, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental procedures.

About the Position

  • You will be responsible for servicing equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • A strong focus on mechanical aptitude, quality assurance, and risk management is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service and maintain equipment, machinery, and facilities to prevent downtime and optimise productivity.
  • Lead proactive preventive maintenance activities to identify potential issues and implement solutions.
  • Manage breakdowns efficiently and effectively to minimise disruption.
  • Evaluate and improve existing processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Technician with experience in repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient with computer systems, including MS Excel, and preventative maintenance software.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Forklift license (training provided if not held).
