About this role

You will contribute to the research efforts of our organization, undertaking research on AI/ML-enabled space surveillance mission for hypersonic missile defense (Phase A1), via an iLAuNCH Project Agreement project between partner universities.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in machine learning, image processing and radiometry to drive innovation and results.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a PhD qualification in aerospace/computer/electrical/mechanical or mechatronic engineering, as well as knowledge of machine learning, image processing and/or radiometry. Proficiency in Python and MATLAB programming, and experience with documentation using LaTeX and version control using Git are also required. Additionally, you should have a record of independent research resulting in high-quality publications and a growing profile in research supervision and leadership.
