Sydney-based wealth management company seeks an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join their team. Estimated salary range is AU$65,000 - AU$80,000 per annum.

As a key member of the Investment/Financial Advisory team, the ideal candidate will possess 3+ years of experience in equity markets and be degree qualified in a Banking-related discipline. The role involves assisting Private Client Advisors in developing financial advice and investment proposals, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional client service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting advisors with servicing and maintenance of existing client relationships
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current legislation and industry standards
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement within the business
  • Managing stock settlements and transfer of funds efficiently
  • Providing administrative support to the Investment/Financial Advisory team

A strong understanding of managed funds, IPO applications, and reconciliations is essential. Ideal candidates will be proficient in drafting correspondence and reports, and have excellent communication skills.

The successful applicant will have the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information. They will also have a proactive approach to identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance business efficiency.
