Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory and Replenishment Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent full-time role that reports to the Procurement Manager.

As an Inventory and Replenishment Specialist, you will be responsible for replenishing stock from both local and international suppliers, optimizing inventory within the group, identifying areas for cost savings and increased service levels, and processing improvement initiatives.

You will strive for 100% on-time delivery through proactive engagement with suppliers and import staff, manage expediting of orders, report and develop plans for SLOB stock, and work with Category Managers and other internal stakeholders to ensure stock on shelf meets sales requirements.

Additionally, you will identify cost-saving opportunities through local and international sourcing, liaise with sales teams on promotions, product updates, and stock clearances, and oversee and manage superseded stock and part number conversions.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have experience with inventory systems, purchasing and inventory control, excellent Microsoft office skills and proficiency, advanced ERP skills - Pronto, SAP or similar, excellent prioritization and time management skills, excellent problem-solving skills, a self-starter mentality, excellent communication and customer service skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

  • Experience with inventory systems
  • Experience with purchasing and inventory control
  • Knowledge of aftermarket automotive industry (advantageous but not essential)
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills and proficiency
  • Advanced ERP skills - Pronto, SAP or similar
