About the Opportunity

Cumberland City Council is seeking a dedicated and passionate OOSH Educator to join our team. As a key member of our Education and Care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality education and care to children from birth to 13 years of age.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and inclusive educational programs that promote children's learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the safety and well-being of children.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education and care.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in an education and care related discipline (or working towards with completion within 12 months) or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Valid Working with Children Check Clearance Number.
  • Child Protection course approved by the NSW Regulatory Authority (s162A Education and Care Services National Law) (or willing to obtain).
  • Current First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate as approved by ACECQA (or willing to obtain).
  • Completion of Food Handler/Safety Training (or willing to obtain).
  • Current class C drivers licence.
