Job Title: Green Space Maintenance Supervisor

The role involves overseeing a team responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across various council-controlled roadsides and open spaces within the Northern Gold Coast, Southern Brisbane, and Ipswich areas.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.

  • Supervise a team of gardeners and maintenance staff.
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment.
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard.
  • Complete service requests as required.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in gardening, spraying, brush cutting, and zero-turn mowing.
  • Valid Manual Driver's License.
  • White Card.
  • ACDC highly regarded.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually.
  • Be punctual and reliable.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
