Electrical Engineer

The role of an Electrical Engineer is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and performance of electrical equipment across our Non-Processing Infrastructure and Green Energy Hub.

This involves developing asset management strategies, conducting thorough inspections, and providing technical support to site electricians to minimize unplanned outages and maintenance costs.

The successful candidate will have expertise in data analysis and digital tools to predict failures and plan interventions. They will also oversee electrical system design and installation, meeting safety and compliance standards.

Additionally, they will work closely with mechanical, process, and operations teams to integrate electrical components seamlessly into plant infrastructure.

Key Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in electrical reliability engineering within a mining or heavy industrial processing environment.
  • Certificate IV in Hazardous Area's or Classification Competency provided by a Registered Training Organisation.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in root cause analysis and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
  • Demonstrated competency in SAP; knowledge in utilising databases in SQL or Snowflake is advantageous.
