Job Title: Mexican Culinary Specialist

We're seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cook to join our team at Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients and vibrant Mexican flavors.

About Us:

Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is dedicated to reinventing fast food by serving the freshest meals made with local ingredients. Our mission has always been to bring the energy of Mexican culture to Australians across the country during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer free uniforms, flexible work hours, culinary training and development, discounted meals, and cultural celebrations.

Job Description:

You will be responsible for preparing fresh and delicious food, problem-solving, and weighing-in with expertise on vibrant Mexican flavors. You'll have the opportunity to utilise fresh ingredients to produce high-standard products for our new and regular guests.

Requirements:

  • Kitchen experience is great but not essential
  • Is open to coaching, eager to learn and ready to put in the effort
  • 'Can do' attitude and can be relied upon
  • Available for a range of shifts including mornings, nights and weekends
