Inventory Data Analyst

As an Inventory Data Analyst at Wesco, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate and reliable inventory reports to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, and develop recommendations to address these findings.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in inventory management and supply chain optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 1 year of experience in a related field, preferably in the distribution industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including creating and editing macros and utilizing other advanced functionality.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access, including creating basic queries, code, and reports.
  • Understanding of relational databases, including creating SQL statements.
  • Knowledge of other applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
