Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to play a critical role in the design and development of civil/structural components and processes for various projects.
The successful candidate will have expertise in ensuring the unique requirements of each project are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct field investigations and client interviews to determine work scope and cost estimates
- Lead design, development, modification, evaluation, and constructability reviews of civil/structural components and processes
- Design structures using advanced knowledge of structural analysis, including statics, dynamics, and materials engineering
- Determine the appropriate use of various structural elements such as steel, wood, masonry, and concrete
- Develop conceptual designs for Civil/Structural engineering projects or projects having specialized or unique requirements
- Prepare or oversee the preparation of discipline estimates and work plan in accordance with project scope, schedule and budget
- Mentor Civil/Structural engineering personnel by providing on-the-job training for their professional development
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-15 years of relevant experience
- Considered highly skilled and proficient in structural engineering discipline
- Seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of area of specialization
