BGIS seeks a skilled Facilities Manager to join our team in the Northern Territory and Western Australia. As a Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the delivery of services, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards (HSEQ).

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team, administering hard and soft services, and overseeing the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS). They will also facilitate routine and breakdown maintenance of critical equipment and monitor customer environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor and worker compliance, including contractor inductions and access controls.
  • Administer hard and soft services, and oversee the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Facilitate routine and breakdown maintenance of critical equipment and monitor customer environments.
  • Participate in after-hours switching, project activities, and maintain a 24/7 call-out roster.
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and prepare daily shift reports.
  • Ensure risk assessments, safe work instructions, and compliance with legal and safety standards.
  • Foster positive client, subcontractor, and supplier relationships while managing contract delivery and KPIs.
  • Promote teamwork, hold team members accountable, and participate in meetings to align with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualification (Mechanical/Electrical) and Post Trade (Engineering Certificate/Associate Diploma).
  • Desirable: Qualification or experience in Facilities Management.

Your Skills:

  • Proven ability in integrated services and property management, delivering property, facilities, and project management.
  • Significant experience in managing large-scale maintenance activities and subcontractor procurement.
  • Strong knowledge of legislative and statutory requirements for maintenance activities.
  • Experience in Environmental, ESD, Energy, and OH&S management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and knowledge of CMMS.
  • Ability to respond quickly to changes, adopting flexible and innovative approaches to problems.
