Baked Goods Production Role

As a skilled Pastrycook, you will be responsible for preparing and baking cakes, pastries, and desserts in a dynamic environment. This position involves contributing to the production of high-quality baked goods by mixing ingredients, baking, decorating, and ensuring products meet our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mixing ingredients and baking a variety of sweet treats such as cakes, pastries, and desserts.
  • Decorating cakes and pastries to perfection, ensuring they are visually appealing and of high quality.
  • Ensuring all products meet our high quality standards through strict adherence to food safety regulations and maintaining a clean kitchen.
Requirements:

We're looking for a motivated individual with relevant experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Certificate III or IV in Patisserie (or equivalent qualification) demonstrating a strong foundation in pastry techniques and dough preparation.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant work experience, preferably in a bakery or patisserie environment.
  • Solid knowledge of pastry techniques, dough preparation, and food safety standards, enabling them to contribute effectively to the team.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and productive workplace culture.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays as required, ensuring the smooth operation of our business.
