Financial Analyst

Job Description:

The role of a Financial Analyst is integral to our organisation's strategic planning. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of gas volume forecasting for the annual business plan, offering support in crafting business cases and evaluating the financial viability of new commercial customer connections. This position requires a strong focus on financial modelling and collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve organisational goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A professional certification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) is highly regarded.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting within a corporate finance environment, with a strong focus on financial modelling.
  • In-depth understanding of finance/valuation concepts and financial statements.
  • Experience with cash flow management.
  • Strong analytical background and complex financial modelling experience.
  • Experience in evaluating new projects' financial viability and understanding general accounting principles and standards.
