Rural Specialist Support Practitioner

About this Critical Role
- Develop and implement tailored support plans for clients at risk of family and domestic violence
- Lead complex cases with sensitivity and professionalism
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Family and Domestic Violence Case Workers
- Collaborate with external partners to enhance response capabilities
Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing risk assessments using the MARAM framework
- Delivering clinical supervision and mentoring to Family and Domestic Violence Case Workers
- Enhancing responses across BRAMS through secondary consultation
Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, counselling or related field
- Specialist knowledge and experience in family and domestic violence practice, including use of the MARAM framework
- Ability to provide holistic case management and client-led support
- Capacity to deliver clinical supervision, mentoring, and secondary consultation
- Understanding of trauma-informed and culturally safe practice, particularly in working with Aboriginal people, families, and communities
