About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate mental health professional to join our team in the Katherine East region. As an Aboriginal Mental Health Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing expert information and education to clients requiring mental health, social and emotional well-being care, and their families.

Salary and Benefits

Enjoy a competitive salary of $93,280 – $111,862 dependent on experience, plus relocation assistance available through NT PHN. You will also be eligible for professional development grants through NT PHN, helping you grow your skills and advance your career.

About the Job

The successful candidate will provide mental health services across nine remote health centres, working closely with the broader Primary Health Care (PHC) team to integrate and coordinate prevention and care for best outcomes for the client. This is a region-wide clinical outreach position, requiring regular travel to all Sunrise Health Service Aboriginal Corporation communities.

Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and minimum 3 years' experience in Mental Health and/or the Social and Emotional Well-being field
  • Registered with relevant regulatory body as a practicing Mental Health Professional
  • Mental Health First Aid
  • Willingness to travel by light plane or on dirt roads
  • Current Driver's License, WWCC, National Police Check
