As part of our catering team, you will be responsible for preparing meals, serving residents, and supporting colleagues in maintaining a cooperative team spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve resident meals, ensuring high-quality service and a safe working environment.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with colleagues and residents, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and supportive team culture, promoting mutual respect and understanding among colleagues.

Requirements:

  • A passion for delivering exceptional care and support to older adults.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with colleagues and residents.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in the workplace.
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) – desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness, and hygiene procedures.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, establishing and maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and residents.
  • NDIS and Police check clearance or a willingness to obtain.
