Job Title: Resident Medical Officer

We are seeking a medical professional to fill a key role in our multidisciplinary team.

  • This is a Temporary Full-Time position working 38 hours per week.
About the Role

We require an individual with completed 12 months of medical clinical experience in a hospital setting and an interest in undertaking general rotations for their PGY 2 year.

You will be involved in providing effective medical services to patients under supervision in a complex clinical environment.

You will adopt a progressively more independent approach to patient management under the guidance of and at the discretion of the Attending Medical Officer.

Broken Hill Hospital provides a 10-bed Emergency Department as well as general medical, surgical, obstetric, paediatric, dialysis, oncology unit and acute mental health beds.
