Key Responsibilities:- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Therapeutic Support Workers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver effective therapeutic services.
- Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each child or young person, in consultation with case managers and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate and monitor the implementation of case plans and leaving care plans, ensuring that the needs of the child or young person are met.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation, including case notes, care plans, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with other services and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated approach to supporting children and young people in our care.
- Relevant management experience in child and youth services, with a focus on therapeutic support.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and their families.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including the Out of Home Care Standards.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to children and young people.
- A competitive hourly rate based on the SCHADS 5.1 award.
