About the Role:
  • Receiving, marshalling, and dispatching of rolling stock is an essential task
  • Maintaining accurate records of train movements and operational needs
  • Collaborating with Operations Planner and signalling staff to anticipate operational requirements
  • Ensuring all train movements are completed safely, practically, and efficiently by communicating with signalling staff
About You:
  • You should have relevant qualifications and experience in shunting operations
  • A thorough understanding of rail network rules and procedures is necessary
  • You must possess strong planning and problem-solving skills
  • A professional approach when interacting with others is required
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility and fatigue management skills necessary to work a rotating roster
