Job Title: Goods HandlerAbout the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our warehouse team as a skilled Goods Handler. You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods in a timely and accurate manner.

Your attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and proactive approach to problem-solving will make you an excellent fit for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving (40%): Receive and book incoming goods, process returned items, and ensure everything is stored properly and promptly.
  • Materials Handling (50%): Pick, check, pack, and ship orders. Manage incoming shipments and ensure the warehouse is secure and organized. Handle customer inquiries efficiently.
  • OH&S in the Warehouse (5%): Follow all Occupational Health and Safety guidelines, reducing risks by using proper manual handling techniques.
  • Training (3%): Participate in training activities, including acting as a trainer when required.
  • Quality Systems (2%): Ensure compliance with quality standards in all warehouse operations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in warehouse and distribution, preferably in healthcare.
  • Skills: Experience with electronic bar-code and inventory systems, including SAP. Familiarity with cycle counting and discrepancy investigations.
  • Competencies: Strong customer focus, high integrity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork ability.
