Senior Accounting Professional

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Professional to join our team.

  1. Job Description:
  2.     Oversee the month-end accounting process, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
  3.     Provide support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
  4.     Prepare monthly management reports and monitor financial performance against budget.
  5.     Maintain the general ledger, regularly reconcile key balance sheet accounts, and investigate any discrepancies.
  6.     Assist with statutory reporting requirements to ensure compliance.
  7.     Support external audit processes by providing necessary information and documentation.
  8.     Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  9.     Utilize Power BI to create interactive dashboards and visual reports and maintain existing ones.
  10.     Offer ad-hoc assistance to the broader finance team as required.
  11.     Respond to internal and external finance-related queries promptly and effectively.
  1. Required Skills and Qualifications:
  2.     Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or relevant discipline;
  3.     Essential experience in financial services or a related industry;
  4.     Strong analytical skills for handling complex, high-volume data;
  5.     Up-to-date knowledge on accounting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory reporting requirements;
