About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Trader to join our team at SIG. As a Quantitative Trader, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing trading strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quantitative trading strategies that align with the company's business objectives
  • Analyze market data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trading, technology, and quantitative research, to ensure seamless execution of trading strategies
  • Design and implement data-driven solutions to improve trading performance and reduce risk
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and regulatory changes, and adapt trading strategies accordingly
Requirements
  • PhD in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, C++, and Java
  • Knowledge of financial markets and instruments, including derivatives and options
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
